I work in stoneware clay using slips and oxides to create unique surfaces. Drawing upon my background in printmaking, I use painterly brush strokes and incised coloured lines. I keep the glaze colours simple as I like a minimal feel which will fit with most interiors.
You can see one of my bottle vases in the October issue of Country Living magazine @countrylivinguk
I sell my pottery through the lovely Hen House in Southwell Nottinghamshire henhouseinteriors.co.uk and over the Christmas period you can find my decorations at Veranda in Holt Norfolk https://www.instagram.com/verandahholt
I teach at the Nottingham Ceramic School. The school offers courses for beginners and for more experienced potters.
I will have a stand at Ceramics in Southwell again this year - 10am- 4:30pm, 27th August, Market Square, Southwell, NG25 0FS
I have been using a dolomite glaze on my new bottle vases
I was delighted to receive the editor's choice award for my stand at the Country Living Christmas Fair in Harrogate 2021.
